Encounter is a weekly Sunday service at 11.15am (come at 11am for coffee).
Approaching 2024 service dates: November 3rd, 10th (no Encounter – combined Remembrance Service), 17th, 24th; December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th;
If you fancy something a little more informal and contemporary, then Encounter could be what you’re looking for.
Led by our Encounter Team, Mark & Rachel Porthouse and David Sparkes, ‘Encounter’ aims to do just what it says on the tin – provide an environment that will enable people to encounter God, with contemporary worship and an informal vibe.
The tagline for the service is ‘Come, Encounter, Receive’:
- Come – Be welcomed and accepted as you are, no previous church experience required!
- Encounter – Meet the Living God
- Receive – The Holy Spirit, prayer, encouragement, support, friendship.
Prayer:
At the end of every service there will be the opportunity to receive prayer.
