Did you know that swift numbers have declined dramatically in recent years?
One of the main reasons is the loss of safe nesting spaces.
Our church tower could become a place of hope and shelter for these incredible birds.
Swift nest boxes can be carefully installed inside the tower—
✨ safe from predators
✨ no disruption to bell ringing
✨ no mess or damage to the building
✨ and lasting for many years
These spaces recreate the natural homes swifts have lost and give them a chance to return and thrive once more.
