Message of the Week

Be a Neighbour to All

In the Gospel story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus reminds us that being a neighbour is not about distance or familiarity. It is about compassion. It is about noticing someone in need and choosing kindness.

To be a neighbour means offering a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand. Sometimes the smallest act — a word of encouragement, a shared cup of tea, or a moment of prayer — can bring light into someone’s day.

Our All Age Service this Sunday invites everyone, young and old, to explore what it means to care for one another as Christ calls us to do. Through songs, crafts, games, and prayer, we will reflect on how we can show love and kindness in our community.

Wherever we go this week — at home, at work, at school, or in our town — may we remember that every person we meet is our neighbour.

Let us go out and share God’s love with open hearts.

“Love your neighbour as yourself.”
— Mark 12:31

All are welcome. 💛
