Of all the verses in the Bible, this is perhaps the most quoted — and the most easily passed over.
Pause for a moment. Read it again. Slowly.
God so loved the world… Not “the world if it deserved it.” Not “the world if it got its act together.” The world, just as it is. You, just as you are.
That’s the gospel in a single sentence. And it’s true every single day.
